I am a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois. As a former crisis clinician, I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds with a variety of life experiences. I am comfortable working with individuals coping with stress, adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, mood disorders, trauma, and personality disorders.
My goal is to provide clients with a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment to process life’s challenges, build on personal strengths, and discover the best versions of themselves. I believe every person is unique, so my therapeutic style is integrative to meet individual needs and preferences. I utilize skills from various models such as Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness.
