I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and obtained my M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Central Washington University in 2022. I have worked in a variety of settings including college campus, inpatient substance abuse treatment, and a correctional facility. I am most experienced in working with mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress/life transitions, grief/loss, and ADHD. However, I have worked with a wide range of issues and feel comfortable working with most clinical concerns.
In my work I use a humanistic approach that is personally tailored to my clients’ strengths. My interventions and techniques are pulled from evidence based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness based strategies. I always strive to work in a trauma informed manner.
Effective therapy requires trust and authenticity. I am passionate about helping clients develop insight, build coping skills, and heal from emotional injuries. I hope to not just reduce negative symptoms, but to increase overall well being and improve the lives of my clients.
