I graduated from the University of Illinois with my Masters degree in Social Work. My previous work experience is as a crisis counselor for a community mental health center. I have worked with a diverse population, including people from different races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, ages, and socioeconomic statuses. I am interested in working with adolescents, teens, and young adults experiencing depression, anxiety, conflict, life transitions, and bullying.
I strongly believe in meeting people where they are at. I am dedicated to creating a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for all people to help promote healing and growth. I like utilizing a strengths-based, person-centered treatment model with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
