I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with 20 total years’ experience working with people in various settings and with varying needs (including over 40 years’ experience dealing with myself).
I have experience working with a wide variety of mental health concerns. I am skilled with short-term life stressors, life transitions, and adjustments. I can help your family find common ground again in working through conflicts, or at least come to see an impasse for what it is. My office is a welcoming and affirming space for people of all genders and sexualities. I enjoy working with adults of all ages.
My approach is centered in the idea that we are equals with different skill sets. We’ll use evidence-based tools and concepts from therapy modalities like CBT, DBT, and ACT. I’m informed by 12-Step principles. My primary goal is to offer the clear and consistent message that you are heard and understood, that you are truly seen and accepted.
I believe we are all attempting to become our freest and truest selves. It is my honor and privilege to help you take the next steps.
“Sometimes just being yourself is a radical act. When you occupy space in systems that weren’t built for you, your authenticity is your activism.” – Elaine Welteroth
