As your therapist, I hope to build a safe and trusting relationship with you where you feel seen and heard for who you are. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I completed my bachelor’s degree in developmental psychology as well as my master’s degree in clinical rehabilitation and mental health counseling from the University of Pittsburgh. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples with a wide variety of concerns, including anxiety, mood disorders, neurodivergence, life transitions, and relationship issues.
My goal is to aid clients in the process of gaining awareness and knowledge about themselves, their mental & emotional well-being, and their relationships with others. I utilize a person-centered approach, with aspects of psychodynamic therapy, attachment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I also incorporate techniques from emotionally focused therapy and the Gottman Method for my work with couples.
Jessica practices at our Downtown Champaign location.
