I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois, with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I have experience working in residential settings with an array of populations that allowed me to have experience with all varieties of mental health concerns, including personality disorders, mood disorders, trauma, substance abuse issues, and psychosis.
I am comfortable working with adults and utilize techniques from several therapy styles, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. My goal is to guide you through the issues you identify in the space of therapy, if that path includes reframing the past or processing what is in the present. Each person who seeks therapy will need a slightly different approach, and it is my goal to tailor my style to what each client needs to be successful in meeting their goals, finding their inherent strength, and learning new skills to manage life differently.
