My name is Lynda Alper, and it has been my honor and pleasure to be a counselor for 27 years. It is my goal to assist you in achieving your goals. I consider myself to be a cognitive behavioral therapist and have worked with individuals, couples and families.
I believe that making a decision to pursue counseling and improve one’s life takes great courage. Attaining and maintaining change is hard work, but brings great rewards. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and nonjudgmental environment for the individuals that I work with.
My areas of interest are: depression, anxiety, grief, end of life issues, PTSD, parenting concerns, conflicts in relationships, divorce, sexual trauma, as well as the behavioral management of and adjustment to chronic medical conditions.
Lynda practices at our Champaign location.
