I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois. As a former crisis clinician and addictions counselor, I have experience working with adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds with a variety of life experiences. I have a range of experiences that allows me to feel comfortable addressing concerns with addiction, trauma, codependency, anxiety, depression, stress, and grief or loss of any kind.
My passion is to help individuals grow and to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment to process life’s challenges. My goal is to always challenge individuals to step outside of their comfort zone without becoming overwhelmed with continual changes and growth. I see each client as an individual and believe that each treatment and intervention should reflect that within every session. My style of treatment primarily utilizes trauma-informed interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused approaches. I believe that everyone is an expert on themselves and their life experiences and with a little extra support and insight we can overcome the challenges we are facing to reach our full potential.
