I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois. I have worked with a wide range of mental health disorders while working in residential treatment and at an inpatient psychiatric hospital. I also have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who are coping with crisis, domestic violence, refugee resettlement, and trauma.
I am comfortable working with individuals coping with depression, anxiety, stress, mood disorders, life transitions, family concerns, suicidal thoughts, and trauma/abuse.
I enjoy encouraging my clients to grow and enjoy life as they process whatever challenges life holds. I wish to create an open space where clients feel validated and empowered no matter where they are on their mental health journey. I individualize treatment to meet the client’s needs, but draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and trauma focused interventions.
