I am Licensed Social Worker with Masters Degrees in Social Work and Public Administration from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana. I have experience in advocacy, case management, and inpatient settings where I worked with clients of all ages. I have worked with individuals coping with chronic mental illness, suicidal thoughts, substance use, depression, anxiety, survivors of sexual abuse and sexual assault, and at-risk teens.
Now that I’m working in the outpatient setting, I continue to work with clients of all ages– children, teens, and adults. I believe that all clients deserve space to process and realize their self-determined goals, and I make it a priority to cultivate a relationship and create a warm environment for my clients to do so. I appreciate that with warm guidance, support, and a “full toolbox” clients can utilize their inner strength to make positive change in their lives.
I draw from Strength-Based Therapy strategies in addition to Mindfulness techniques and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my approach.
